2024 Nebbiolo
Coonawarra Nebbiolo, welcome to the Ottelia family.
Grown by the McLeod family, the vineyards are located at the northern end of Coonawarra near the Wrattonbully border.
Native to Italy, Nebbiolo is known for it's natural acidity and structural tannins. Ottelia's expression of Nebbiolo is a lighter style - reminiscent of Pinot Noir.
Light, bright & charismatic. Aromas of bitter orange and rhubarb are akin to Italian aperitivo. Generous flavours of cherry pit, blood orange & Earl Grey are complemented by dignified tannins lending varietal structure.
Pairs well with deep conversations, well worn books and debunking conspiracy theories.
